01Profile

A professor who builds things.

I teach mechanical engineering at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology in Chennai and run HEXAIND Technologies. My Ph.D. is in thermal engineering, and my research is now moving into computational fluid dynamics with OpenFOAM and, more recently, computational quantum computing.

My work connects thermal engineering research with software development. I use OpenFOAM to model flow and heat transfer in engines and battery thermal management, building on my Ph.D. in thermal engineering at Anna University. I am also exploring computational quantum computing for engineering problems. My development stack spans React, TypeScript and Node.js for web applications, Bash for automation, and Embedded C++ for IoT and robotics. I deploy with Docker on cloud infrastructure. Through HEXAIND, which I have run since 2020, I have built and hosted more than a hundred web applications.

Previously Assistant Professor at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (2022–26) and S.A. Engineering College, Chennai (2017–22), and earlier posts in mechanical and aeronautical engineering since 2009.
